Christmas Day 2008

We had a fabulous Christmas Day 2008! It is so humbling for me to realize how much God must love us to lower Himself to become one of His creation...praise God. We should strive to honor Him by all means every day of our lives!

First, our family joined other members of our church to sing Christmas Carols and in handing out presents to residents of a local nursing home. Caleb played the guitar for some of the songs.

Later, our dear friends, Tim, Cathy, Geoffrey and Andrei Palmer joined us for Christmas dinner and fellowship. The Palmer's serve as MSC missionaries with the North American Mission Board. Cathy assists immigrant families in the Clarksville are, sharing the love of Jesus Christ as she assist them in a variety of ways. You can read more about their ministry here.

Of course, whenever Tim and I get together, ping pong and darts cannot be overlooked, so we had an impromptu tournament.

I can say a great time was had by all! Here are some more photos from our day.
