A "Historic" Vacation

Following a successful World Changers Portsmouth project in Virginia, the Yarbrough family decided to take a few days vacation to check out historic sites in Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Our first stop was at Jamestown, where the kids got to see up close the beginnings of our nation. Pamm and I had been to Jamestown many years earlier during one of the first World Changers projects held in the area (Eastern Shore, Va.). After Jamestown, it was off to check out the colonial town of Williamsburg.

Washington, D.C., was next on the list as we drove to the city and checked out Washington Mall and many of the area historic sites and museums.
