Our family had a wonderful trip to Portsmouth, Virginia, during Spring Break. It was the site of the World Changers Portsmouth pre-project planning visit! Pamm is project coordinator for the project this summer, which is being held in July. Above is a photo of Caleb and Hannah on the boardwalk at Virginia Beach.Portsmouth is truly a beautiful and historic city. The need to share Jesus Christ in the Cradock community where we will be working is so desperately needed.
It was great to get to know the groups from North Carolina and West Virginia that participated in the pre-project visit. Rob Edwards, pastor of Cradock Baptist Church and association coordinator, was a wonderful host and really helped us all better understand the needs of the Portsmouth area and the Cradock community where project sites will be located. Work to houses will include painting, roofing, the replacement of windows and general repair.
One of the highlights of our visit came Saturday when our group were special guests at a prayer retreat at Cradock Baptist Church hosted by the Woman's Missionary Union of the Portsmouth Baptist Association.
Our family feels really blessed to have been a part of World Changers for so many years!
