Prayer for the People of the World

During this holy and blessed time of year, when we pause with our families to humbly recall what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us, we also remember and pray for the billions upon billions of people in the world who have not responded to the call of Christ.

They are the unreached groups of the world, where organizations like the Southern Baptist International Mission Board and North American Mission Board have deployed thousands of missionaries to share the Good News.

Pause with our family today to remember and pray for the task at hand and for our collective part of sharing the Christ with the nations!

May God richly bless your family and ministry (if you are a sinner saved by grace, you have a ministry - Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8), in 2008!

S Rozhdestvom Khristovym (Merry Christmas)
and
S Novym Godom (Happy New Year)**

**The Russian and Belarussion people have had a special place in my heart since I was privileged to be a part of several evangelism crusades there a number of years ago. These people of the former Soviet Union continue to face political and social change on an unprecedented scale, yet Christ's Church and His people are working diligently under sometimes horrific circumstances, including persecution.

Please pause and pray today for the people of Russia, Belarus and other countries that formerly made up the Communist Soviet Union, as well as the many Southern Baptist and evangelical missionaries that serve there.
