Caleb and Hannah participated in the annual See You at the Pole (SYATP) national student emphasis to pray for their school, nation and the world Sept. 21. Our church had students participating in about nine area middle and high schools.
The SYATP theme for 2005 was "Call to Me." The focal scripture for the emphasis was Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do noto know."
According to its website, SYATP is a student initiated, student organized and student led meeting at their school flagpoles to pray for their friends, teachers, school, government and nation. It is not meant to be a demonstration or political rally. The next SYATP is set for Sept. 27, 2006.
